My final wedding of 2023. Cassondra and Michael found me on instagram and followed my work through the 2022 season.When Cassondra slid into my DMs on Instagram and asked me to capture engagement images in DC, I was over the moon.
We kicked things off bright and early at the cherry blossom festival for their engagement shoot. The soft morning light, the blooming flowers - it was like a fairytale come to life. Cassondra and Michael were pure magic together.
This wedding weekend started out capturing the rehearsal dinner. They had one request - Tully chicken tenders. And you know what? Those tendy pics turned out to be pure gold! The dinner was a blast, but those tenders stole the show.
The wedding ceremony at the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception. The church was jaw-droppingly beautiful, and my second shooter Vicente nailed those ceremony portraits. We had all the space to work our magic and capture every heartfelt moment. The reception at the Marriott downtown Syracuse was nothing short of grandeur. The ballroom was like something out of a royal affair. We snapped some stunning portraits, had a blast with the bridesmaids, and got some fun shots of the happy couple in their element.
Let me tell you about the dances! Cassondra's background in cheerleading brought some serious flair to the floor. From their choreographed couple dance to the bride's squad showing up with their own routine - it was a dance party for the ages! Capturing those moves was an absolute joy. Cheers to Cassondra and Michael for letting me be part of their epic journey!
